Sat 5 June 2010 11:57:00 GMT Stage 9 from Morzine to Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne on July 13 will be the major alpine stage following the first rest day. The 204.5 km stage will start in Haute-Savoie then, after a climb to the Colombière mountain pass, cross the border into Savoie and the Aravis pass, followed by the Saisies pass. The route will pass Chatillon sur Cluse and Cluses which are nearby (11 km and 13 km, respectively) to Les Carroz d'Araches.
